Treatment approach

I see clients through the lens of their strengths and work to empower them to identify their own self-worth. I recognize and draw on the important connection between physical and mental health and incorporate a variety of interventions into my work with clients depending on their needs.

I have training in and utilize psychodynamic interpersonal therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), family-based treatment (FBT) and other therapy modalities. I work to create a safe, non-judgmental, and warm space where clients feel welcomed and comfortable sharing their story.

I welcome clients from all backgrounds and identities and do not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, age, gender identity and expression, sexuality, religion, and ability. My practice has a foundation in intuitive eating and Health at Every Size (HAES) frameworks.
